The hour indication is complemented by a retrograde date displayed alongside the off-centered dial at 12 o’clock. Traditional Breguet hands indicate hours and minutes, while a uniquely designed hand, elegantly curved on multiple levels, sweeps over the movement's components to reach the date section between 3 and 9 o’clock. Its retrograde function resets to 1 at the end of the month, a complication perfected by A.-L. Breguet in his renowned creations.
